Natalie Joffe is a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer who is passionate about helping her clients create healthy and positive relationships with food, body and movement. Based in Seattle, Natalie works with clients locally and out of state. She also leads customized wellness retreats, combining both fitness and nutrition in an inspiring and informative program.
Natalie has over twenty years of experience in the nutrition and competitive sports industry. As a young girl, Natalie was a junior Olympic cross-country ski racer. She competed as a sponsored athlete at the US National level, and has coached and skied across the US, Europe and New Zealand.
Natalie earned her BA in psychology with a concentration in neuroscience from Williams College. After several years in corporate healthcare, she went on to pursue a postgraduate degree in nutrition consulting from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where she studied over 100 dietary theories and trained under some of the world’s top health and wellness experts, including Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating.
In 2017 Natalie became a certified Body Trust® provider. Body Trust®is an approach to healing body shame and disordered eating based on the clinical work of Hilary Kinavey, MS, LPC and Dana Sturtevant, MS, RD. The approach is designed for multi-disciplinary helping professionals to make a shift from a weight-normative to a weight-inclusive approach to care that includes recognition of what helps address intersectional oppressions that have made “body trust” challenging, unsafe or inaccessible.
